Meet Dr. Wayne Young
Dr. Young loves what he does, and so do his patients
As the residential doctor at Skinmedics Clinic and one of the most highly respected injectors in the industry, Dr. Wayne Young brings years of experience, passion and a caring nature to his patients.
Trained initially in Johannesburg, South Africa, he then interned at the world famous Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town (where the world's first heart transplant was performed).
Subsequently, he trained in London, working in the Surgical departments of hospitals such as The Royal Free, Royal Marsden, and in one of the reputed Harley St. clinics. He then returned to Johannesburg for further cosmetic surgical training.
In Australia, he has trained extensively in General Surgery (4 years) and in Plastic Surgery (5 years in pure Cosmetic Surgery) in most leading teaching hospitals, including RPA, St Vincent's, Westmead, and POWH, and with many of Sydney's leading Plastic Surgeons.
Attending various local and international cosmetic surgical conferences and workshops yearly, Dr Young keeps up to date with the very latest procedures and techniques.
Dr Young brings his keen eye and innate sense of style to the table when assessing and treating his patients at Skinmedics with our comprehensive and effective injectable medicine range, aiming for a "look" that is not only age appropriate, but in line with today's style.
Through his extensive training and really listening to his patients, he is able to discover and provide the changes they want, truly setting Dr. Young apart from his contempories.
